Well I'm a year older than I was yesterday. Have hit 34 which Paul says is a good omen and will bring me luck because 3+4=7 which is a lucky number. After last month's fun and games I need some good luck on my side.
Had a lie-in and Paul bought be breakfast in bed. So sweet. And he made croissants and scrambled egg :-)
Paul got me the scraf, hat and gloves as you can see in the pic. He said they were more orangey in the shop light so he got them cos he likes orange. I shall be wearing them next week as we shall need them in the -20 degree cold.
Took Paul to footie (yes he went to footie on my birthday and had some celebratory drinks on my behalf to celebrate my birthday and more importantly Man U's thrashing of Portsmouth). I went to see my parents whilst this took place and got cards,?s, as well as the Bloc sunglasses (wearing here) which are again for next week. My little bro got me J.D.Salinger's Catcher in the Rye (which I read in my early teens but couldn't remember and decided I wanted to read it since his recent death).
My best mate (friends since aged 5) got me the Wii Just Dance game. I had mentioned I wanted it at Christmas when I saw here but I never got round to getting it. It arrived in the post and I was really chuffed. Need to think of something for her for 3 weeks time.
After I picked the boys up from footie Paul and I headed to the Olive Press in Bolton. Italian place, nice food (better than the Manchester one we think). Busy with we suspected pre-Valentine people. We garlic bread as starters then pasta dish each and were well and truely stuffed. We planned to then go to the cinema but never made it due to our uselessness with directions round Bolton. Ah well. I had a nice birthday meal and a nice birthday! Thanks to all x

Okay, truely, I'm bad at these sorts of things, but I'm going to give it a shot.
I'm a resident of the Chicago suburbs, and I hate it. Ever since I was a kid I dreamed of living in California, always in San Diego. I'd never even been there, but it was always a dream of mine.
This past week, I took my first trip out there. Along with my boyfriend Yosh, our mutual best friend Furby, a girl who I adopted as my little sister Cyn and a boy who I adopted as my little brother Drew.
Yosh, Furby and Cyn...those arent their real names. I've always referred to them as that though.
Anyway. I fell in love. I love the beaches, the mountains, the harbors. We took a cruise, and found out I get seasick, which sucks though. Major motion sickness.
My boyfriend also fell in love. We're hoping in about a year to 2 years we'll have enough saved up to make the big move, and buy a place out there.
For now, we will be renting a place together in September. Scary stuff.
I'm not a professional photographer. Well, sort of. I've been in and out of colleges since I was 16, and photography was a major of mine for a while. I don't have a good camera anymore (destroyed in a flood a year and a half ago, I havent had the money to get it repaired, or to pick up a new one) all I have is a nifty point and shoot that works pretty well. I can photoshop, and I like to play with that.
Oh, and another thing I liked about San Diego? My allergies weren't that bad, and my nerotic-ness went down a few notches. But my mental illnesses are stories for another day
